High School Programs
OCSB high schools offer a variety of programs to suit a wide array of student learning styles and interests.
OSSLT Prep
The Online OSSLT Practice Test is an interactive tool designed to help students prepare for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). It mimics the format and content of the official OSSLT, giving students a realistic preview of the exam experience. The practice test includes a variety of question types such as multiple choice, short answer, and long-form responses, all focused on assessing reading comprehension, writing skills, and overall literacy.
Students can work through texts like narratives, informational texts, and graphical content while responding to related questions. This helps build familiarity with the kinds of material they’ll encounter on the actual test. The online format also allows students to practice managing their time, navigating through different sections, and reviewing their answers.
In addition to providing immediate feedback, the practice test gives students the chance to identify areas where they may need improvement. It’s a great resource for building confidence and improving literacy skills before the actual OSSLT.
SHSM Programs
Our school is proud to host SHSM programs in 3 different economic sectors: Arts and Culture, Environment and Manufacturing. Students also have the opportunity to participate in SHSM programs hosted at other OCSB schools. See your Guidance Counsellor for details.
