The Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ottawa is now taking applications for the Canadian Future Achievers Program (CFA).
Students Meeting the Eligibility Criteria May Receive:
1. In their first year of involvement with the CFA; A monetary first amount of $50.
2. In subsequent years of involvement, annually, and until their high school graduation: a monetary gift for the amount of $100.
3. Upon graduating from high school: a $500 or $1,000 scholarship to the post secondary institution of their choice.
So Who Can Apply ??
If you are between the ages of 9 and 16 years.
If you are either First Nations, Inuit or Caribbean origin.
If you have a minimum academic average of "B"
If you have demonstrated commitment to and engagement in extracurricular activities.
If you have been recognized by your teacher as being capable of acting as a role model among peers.
