What is RBC Training Ground? RBC Training Ground is an athlete identification and development program created by RBC, CBC, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), the Canadian Olympic Foundation (COF), and the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Network (COPSIN). The program aims to uncover athletes with Olympic podium potential and provide them with access to and funding for high-performance sport. Athletes will complete a series of physical tests and then chosen athletes will be connected with a National Sport Organization development program, and will receive funding, resources, coaching and/or mentorship from the COF and RBC. RBC Olympians will be in attendance to chat with participants and share their story, as will practitioners and staff from CSIO.

Since 2016, the program has tested over 7400 athletes across Canada. This year there will be events held in 8 different provinces, for a total of 13 Regional Qualifier events across the country. From these qualifiers, the top 100 athletes will be invited to the National Final in May, 2020.
